US 75 northbound on-ramp in Sioux City to close temporarily

SIOUX CITY, Iowa (KCAU) — If you frequently use Highway 75's northbound on-ramp in Sioux City, you'll want to be aware of an upcoming closure that could slow down your trip.
The Iowa Department of Transportation will close the northbound ramp from U.S. Highway 20 this Wednesday, Oct. 2 from 9 a.m. until about 1 p.m., weather permitting.

The closure will allow construction crews to set up a crane to move an existing light tower from the east side of the ramp to the west side.
The Iowa DOT advises drivers to be cautious in these work zones and to follow the posted speed limits.
