VARC awards Greg Marcus, Marcus Cinema La Crosse, with Inclusive Employer Award

LA CROSSE, Wis. (WLAX/WEUX) – October is National Disability Employment Awareness Month, and today, representatives of VARC were at Marcus Cinema in La Crosse to present an "Inclusive Employer Award" to someone you've probably seen on the big screen more than anyone else.

President of the Marcus Corporation, and renowned movie buff, Greg Marcus was in La Crosse to accept the award on behalf of Marcus Cinema. President and CEO of VARC, Lizz Filter says, "Marcus Theater has been a valuable partner, giving VARC clients with disabilities job opportunities through the years. They offer such a wealth of employment opportunities and experiences to our clients with disabilities and other life barriers, and the positive ripple effect of their compassion is incalculable."

VARC has already given out over 30 Inclusive Employer Awards in the state of Wisconsin.
