Vesean Allette came off the bench and scored a game high 20 points to lead six players in double figures as TCU rolled to a 105-59 win against FAMU in the season opener for both teams on Monday night in Fort Worth, Texas.

Ernest Udeh Jr had a double double with 13 points and 11 rebounds, while Frankie Collins scored 14 points and added seven rebounds and five assists.

Jace Posey scored 11 points and connected on 3-of-4 3-pointers. Brendan Wenzel and Isaiah Manning each scored 10 points as TCU shot 54.7 percent from the field and won its 11th consecutive season opener.

Sterling Young led FAMU with 16 points and Jordan Chatman and Saiyd Burnside each added eight points.

Even with 11 new players on their roster, the Horned Frogs continued to play an uptempo style. TCU led the nation in fastbreak points the last two years and scored 23 points in transition against the Rattlers.

FAMU had seven first-half turnovers and shot 28.6 percent from the field and 2-for-16 from three-point range as TCU mixed in a press with their half-court pressure man-to-man defense to build a 59-22 halftime lead.

TCU held a 50-16 points in the paint advantage and won the rebounding battle 47-29.

An 18-2 first-half run allowed TCU to put the game away early. Noah Reynolds (9 points) drilled a 3-pointer from the top of the key as TCU took a 33-9 lead with 8:40 left in the first half.

After a 4-0 rally from the Rattlers, the Horned Frogs went on a 15-0 run, highlighted by Posey's third 3-pointer of the first half which extended the Horned Frogs' lead to 47-13 with just under six minutes left in the first half.

Reynolds drilled a corner three to give TCU a 57-22 lead as the first half wound down. On the next FAMU possession, a Collins steal and dunk as time expired gave TCU a 59-22 halftime lead.

An alley-oop from Reynolds to Udeh pushed the TCU lead to 63-28 at the 17:59 mark of the second half.
