FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WPTA) - The Veterans National Memorial Shrine and Museum shares its Vietnam Memorial Wall is temporarily closed for repairs. "The wall is in need of structural repairs to its base and concrete," said Commander Greg Bedford. The repairs are being completed by Hagerman Construction, the wall's original contractor. The work is set to be completed before Veterans Day on November 11. "We apologize to all visitors and veterans for this closing, but the work had to be done before winter weather sets in," continues Bedford.
