Virginia State Police continues investigation into Tazewell County man who disappeared almost 11 years ago
TAZEWELL COUNTY, VA (WVNS) — The almost 11-year-old disappearance of a Tazewell County man continues to be investigated by the Virginia State Police Bureau of Criminal Investigation Wytheville Field Office.
According to a press release from the Virginia State Police, 42-year-old Eric Grady Smith , of Cedar Bluff, Virginia, went missing on November 8, 2013 after allegedly going hunting near West Hurt Buggy Road in the Tazewell County area of Virginia.

Smith never returned, and although searches were held, the press release stated that nothing was ever found.
Smith is white, with brown hair and brown eyes, six feet one inch tall, weighed around 210 pounds, and was last seen wearing camouflage clothes.
