Walz to campaign in Harrisburg on Election Day
Minnesota Gov. Tim Walz, Vice President Kamala Harris' running mate, will make a stop in Harrisburg on Election Day to promote the Democratic Party's candidates, according to a campaign news release.
Walz and his wife, Gwen, will arrive at Harrisburg International Airport at 11 a.m. and join a political event in Harrisburg at 11:30 a.m. There were no further details provided about the event, but pre-approved members of the press will be permitted to attend.
The visit is scheduled to be Walz's final campaign event before heading to Washington, D.C., to join Harris for the campaign's election results watch party, which is being held on the campus of Howard University, Harris' alma mater.
Harris spent much of Monday in Pennsylvania, rallying in Allentown, Pittsburgh and Philadelphia.
