A new episode of "The Challenge 40: Battle of the Eras" will premiere Wednesday, November 6 at 8 p.m. Fans of the hit reality show can watch episodes live on Philo (free trial) or FuboTV (free trial) or SlingTV (discount).

What to expect on tonight's episode: The Challengers get their first taste of what a final could look like, while battling to avoid being purged from the game; one Challenger tries to put the final nail in the coffin for their foe.

This season featured 40 veterans from past seasons competing in brand new challenges for the grand price - $1 million. This battle has been brewing since 1998, so we can expect an intense season.

TJ Lavin is the host this season as fans welcome back big names like Cara Maria Sorbello, Johnny "Bananas" Devenanzio and Brad Fiorenza.
