S.Chen1 hr ago
FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. (KNWA/KFTA) — Chances for rain and storms will increase tonight into Monday morning. Areas of heavy rain could lead to flash flood potential tonight.

Isolated severe storms are possible on Monday afternoon.

Check out the timelines for rain and storms for both Northwest Arkansas and the River Valley.

Below is the risk of severe weather for Monday.

The best chance for severe weather is Monday afternoon. The risk is on the lower side because the instability is in question. If we get some sun Monday morning and the forecast stays mainly dry ahead of Monday afternoon, our severe potential will be higher. So, we need to pay attention closely to Monday morning.

Below is a future track showing how the next 24 hours might unfold.

In addition to the rain and storms, it will be quite windy. Wind gusts on Monday should get up to around 40 MPH.
