'We're going to keep going as long as people are listening' | Two Temple men spreading positivity through podcast

The two have seen the development of the city, and their love for it is what sparked them to create their own podcast.

"Some friends of ours had started a podcast, and when they started that podcast, I went, 'Man, if they can do it, we can do it,'" Winnett said. "And two weeks later, Josh and I were starting our first one, and we had our first episode."

The two have already recorded 61 episodes covering all sorts of fun pieces while highlighting the stories of those in Central Texas.

"We had a friend of ours that went on Shark Tank," Winnett said. "She's a multimillionaire. We've had someone that was on, our very first guest was Louise Black and she was on Project Runway. She was our best friend's girlfriend."

"A lot of our guests are out of Central Texas and people have no idea that they're from Central Texas," Winnett said.

"We're not stopping," Winnett said. "We're going to keep going as long as people are listening, even if it's three, if it's three people and those people are listening every week, we're going to keep doing it."

When not podcasting, you can find Peterson in Temple. He's going back to school for a Bachelor's Degree. Winnett lives in the Dallas area with his wife and kids.
