Western Connecticut UFO Conference Beaming Into Danbury Presentations at the annual conference explore the mysteries of UFO/UAP as well as reported encounters with non-human beings.

Prepare for an unearthly experience as the Danbury Library proudly hosts the annual Western Connecticut UFO Conference. This year's event runs from October 16 to October 26 and offers a captivating mix of virtual and in-person presentations that will explore the mysteries of UFO/UAP as well as reported encounters with non-human beings. The conference is an annual commemoration of the mass sightings reported between 1982 and 1989, when over 25,000 people saw a boomerang-shaped craft fly silently over New York, Connecticut (including Danbury), New Jersey, and Massachusetts.

This year's event arrives amid growing public interest following recent government revelations about Unidentified Anomalous Phenomena (UAPs). During a 2023 Congressional hearing, it was claimed that the U.S. government has recovered non-human biological remains from UAP crash sites, reigniting curiosity about extraterrestrial life.

The conference features a stellar lineup of guest presenters including astronomer Marc D'Antonio, Chief Photo and Video Analyst for the Mutual UFO Network (MUFON). Marc's groundbreaking presentation, "How UFOs Travel from There to Here" will examine the technology and science behind UFO propulsion. Marc has appeared on major networks like CNN, Discovery, The History Channel, and the Science Channel.

On October 16th, Peter Robbins will lead a virtual presentation, "Hidden Structures on the Moon and Mars: The Untold NASA/JPL Story," taking attendees on a visual journey through NASA photos that hint at strange structures on the Moon, Mars, and asteroids. On October 17th, Linda Zimmermann, author of the Hudson Valley UFO series, will explore "The Danbury Triangle" in a virtual event that will focus on numerous sightings reported in the region.

On October 23rd, Mike Bara, a former aerospace engineer and frequent guest on radio and television shows including the History Channel's Ancient Aliens, will join Thom Reed to explore Thom's family's 1969 encounter with a disc-shaped craft in Massachusetts. Al Santariga, Director of the New York State UFO Project, will present Encounters with the Unknown in person at Danbury Library on October 24th.

On Saturday, October 26th, MUFON Connecticut Director Mike Panicello will lead a "How to Be a UFO Field Investigator" workshop and present on Unidentified Submerged Objects (USOs).

Panicello, along with other MUFON representatives, will be presenting live at the library and will lead discussions and Q&A sessions during his workshop.
