Wexford students help with spring bulb planting
M.Cooper10 hr ago
Leaving Cert students from the CBS took time out of their studying schedule to assist the ECA in planting at the viewing point on the Mill Park Road, while a group of students from Enniscorthy Community College worked at the Milehouse Road, which residents of Bridgemeadows greatly appreciated. Bulbs and flowers were also planted on the two bollards on Main Street and along the green – overall more than 200 bulbs were planted. The members received support from residents who honked the horns of their cars as they passed by. The ECA is very grateful and ecstatic to see such an influx of community support from local schools. At this time, there has been 20 bulb-planting projects organised and implemented in Enniscorthy and its surrounds, spearheaded by local residents and students. The campaign will run until mid-November. Enquiries can be made to John by phone at 0876734376.
