What Happened to Saints’ Paulson Adebo? Injured CB Carted Off Field vs. Broncos

Week 7 is here! The New Orleans Saints are facing off against the Denver Broncos on Thursday night football at Caesars Superdome. The game is on, and in quarter 2, Denver is ahead of the Saints. However, besides this, the latter team also faced another hit, an injury blow to their cornerback.

During the game in the second quarter, Paulson Adebo went down on the field due to a reported gruesome leg injury. It happened when the CB was coming in to help his teammate Jordan Howden to tackle Javonte Williams after a 9-yard gain on a pass from Bo Nix. According to reporter Erin Summers on X, Adebo has been put "on the cart, (and it) looks like a leg injury."

Now it's awful because even commentator Al Michaels acknowledged that it's too gruesome to be shown on TV. This is evident in his statement where he mentioned, "Any time we don't show you a replay, you know it's serious." Nevertheless, keeping himself positive, the player, via Katherine Terrell, gave a thumbs up when he was "driven off with his right leg in an air cast."

But this injury has broken his fans and the Saints' faithful, especially when he is on the verge of free agency. This looks like at one moment you are chasing life-changing money, and the next, it all becomes uncertain.

So, earlier it was speculated that Paulson Adebo has broken his leg. But now, according to recent updates, the athlete has been ruled out for the remainder of the game tonight with a knee injury.

At present, the Broncos are at 16, leaving the Saints behind at 3.
