The average price of a gallon of gas across the United States was $3.10 Wednesday, Nov. 6, according to AAA — 7 cents less than last month's average.

Washington gas prices
Washington state's average cost of gas per gallon is now $4.01 — a 2-cent decrease from October's average of $4.03. Last November, gas averaged $4.60 a gallon in Washington, 59-cents above the current average, according to AAA.
Washington has the third-highest gas prices in the country, following California at $4.53 a gallon and Hawaii at $4.57 a gallon, according to AAA.
Whatcom County gas prices
Whatcom County's average cost of gas is $3.85 a gallon , a 1-cent increase compared to October.
On Wednesday, Nov. 6, Bellingham's average gallon of gas cost $3.85, according to AAA , a 6-cent increase from last month's average of $3.79
