What's Leaving Netflix in November 2024: 'It Chapter Two,' 'Frances Ha'

With every Thanksgiving bounty comes a time for clearing away. Some beloved series and films are getting chucked out with the turkey this November on Netflix.

If you're still clinging on to Halloween season for all it's worth, make sure you pencil in time to watch It Chapter Two one more time. The massive profitable Stephen King sequel starring Bill Hader , Jessica Chastain , James McAvoy , and King himself in a blink-and-you'll-miss-it role leaves the platform on the last day of the month. Before that, the most recent chapter in the bloody Evil Dead saga, Evil Dead Rise, will bow as well.

Moving down the tension scale to thrillers, Netflix is offloading a few particularly popular titles. There's the dystopian Tom Cruise and Emily Blunt alien-slayer Edge of Tomorrow, as well as the Alan J. Pakula classic The Devil's Own, starring Harrison Ford and Brad Pitt , and The Matrix Resurrections.

Finally, if you want to get your laughs in, do it now. Because the animated gross-out flick Sausage Party is leaving, and taking Space Jam: A New Legacy, Tyler Perry 's Diary of a Mad Black Woman, and the Tiffany Haddish – Kevin Hart two-hander Night School.

The only series leaving the platform in November is Shahs of Sunset, Bravo's opulent reality series following a group of jetset Persian-American socialites.

Two films of particular note are Noah Baumbach's Frances Ha and Michael Bay 's Pain and Gain. The black-and-white ultra-indie dramedy Frances Ha launched Barbie helmer Greta Gerwig to fame, paving the way for her extraordinary success in Hollywood. Pain and Gain is notable in that it has the power to completely rewire perceptions of Transformers director Michael Bay with its uncharacteristically nuanced portrayals of masculinity, class, and race.
