EXETER: The Cosmopolitan Senior Citizens Club will meet at 1 p.m. on Tuesday in St. Anthony’s Center. Host/hostesses are Terri Mislan, Rose Mary Oliveri, Ann Marie Shedlock and Betsie Williams.

A Casino trip is scheduled to Sands Casino on Thursday, April 14. Pickups are in Exeter and Pittston. Call Johanna at 570-655-2720 for reservations.

FALLS: The Falls Active Adult Center, SR 92, Exeter, will host a student intern from Penn State Extension for a lunch and learn on Thursday entitled “Savor the Flavor of Eating Right.”

Local Artist, Rose Brostoski will instruct a class from 9:30 a.m. to noon on Monday, April 4, entitled ” Spring Flowers” in acrylics. All supplies are provided, RSVP by Friday.

HANOVER TWP.: The Lee Park Senior Center, 140 Lee Park Ave., will host a representative from Senator Yudichak’s office at the center from 9 a.m. to noon on Wednesday to assist with Rent Rebates.

The Hinkle Family will entertain at 12:30 p.m. on Thursday.

LUZERNE/WYOMING COUNTIES: Caregiver Support Group will meet from 1 to 3 p.m. on Wednesday at the Edwardsville Active Adult Center on Russell St., Edwardsville. Concerns of care giving will be discussed.

Reservations are requested but not required and refreshments will be served. Call Cindy Howe at 570-822-1158, ext. 2345, with questions.

MOUNTAIN TOP: Due to construction at St. Jude’s Church, the Mountaintop Senior Club will meet at 1 p.m. at St. Paul’s Church on Route 309 in Mountain Top on Tuesday.

MOUNTAIN TOP: The Mountain Top Social Club will meet at 1 p.m. on Tuesday, April 12, at St. Paul’s Church.

Bring in items in good condition for the auction where all proceeds will go towards entertainment and enjoyment for club members.

Bakers for next meeting will be Irma Coniglio, Betty Czeck and Sharon Gorka.

PITTSTON: The Pittston Active Adult Center, 441 N. Main St., is hosting an AARP four hour Safe Drivers Refresher Course on Friday, May 6, for individuals who have completed either the 2-part basic course or refresher course in the past 3 years. Insurance may be discounted by 5% for those who complete this course and are at least 55 years of age. To register call Connie or Hazel at 570-655-5561.

The Spring Fling dance is from 7 to 10 p.m. on Saturday, April 23, at the center. $7.50 includes music by George Rittenhouse and light refreshments. Advanced tickets only, no tickets at the door.

PLAINS: Plains Senior Citizens Project HEAD is planning a trip on Thursday, June 23, for a Spirit of Philadelphia Riverboat Cruise and buffet lunch. The return trip will include a stop at The Sands Casino in Bethlehem with a $20 voucher and $5 food voucher.

PLYMOUTH: The Senior Citizens’ Friendship Club of St. Mary’s will host their Mom and Dad lunch at 1 p.m. on Monday, May 9, at Happy Pizza in Plymouth. Members may start to make reservations at the next meeting.

SWOYERSVILLE: The Swoyersville Senior citizens will meet at 1 p.m. on Wednesday at Saint Elizabeth Ann Seton Church social hall. A social hour followed with bingo.

Winners of the 50/50 fundraiser were Mary Niccoli, Mario Zucco and Marie Urban. Theresa Yurko observed her birthday and treated all the members to birthday cake and coffee.

New members are welcome.

WILKES-BARRE: St. Robert Bellarmine seniors are planning a trip to Woodlock Pines for Wednesday, April 20. For additional information about trips call Otto at 570-4070056.
