Where is alcohol on the ballot in East Tennessee
TENNESSEE (WATE) — Voters in several East Tennessee communities were given the chance to vote on local regulations regarding alcohol.
Voters in Lafollette, Rutledge, Vonore, Wartburg, White Pine, Scott County, Dandridge and Mount Carmel will decide on referendums focused on whether or not package stores should be permitted to sell alcoholic beverages. Voters in Wartburg and Scott County will also have to decide if the sale of "alcoholic beverages for consumption" should be allowed. In addition, voters in Oneida are voting on whether or not "alcoholic beverages for consumption" should be sold within the town.
