Will Levis injury update: Titans make decision on QB's status vs. Chargers

Will Levis will be back as the starting quarterback this weekend for the Tennessee Titans.

Brian Callahan confirmed as much on Levis on Friday. After missing the last three, he will return to the lineup on the road this weekend when the Titans play the Los Angeles Chargers.

Levis has been dealing with a Grade 2 sprain of the AC joint in his throwing shoulder. He suffered that early in Tennessee's win at Miami on Monday Night Football back at the end of September. He would play in their next game following their bye week against the Indianapolis Colts. However, he has been sidelined with it for three games since against Buffalo, Detroit, and New England where the team went 1-2.

In his absence, Mason Rudolph served as QB1 in Nashville. He finished off that one game where Levis did not return against the Dolphins. Then, against the Bills, Lions, and Patriots, he was 67-111 (60.4%) for 721 yards with four touchdowns and interceptions apiece when passing along with another rushing score.

In his five starts this season, Levis is 83-125 (66.4%) in passing for 699 yards, five touchdowns, and seven interceptions. He also has three fumbles lost on the year for a total of ten to double the amount of turnovers he has as compared to scores.
