William Arthur Laurent OBITUARY
William "Bill" Laurent, son to Arthur and Clarissa Laurent, passed away on August 19, 2024, at the age of 87.
He is survived by his wife of 59 years, Janet and his daughter, Michelle (Alan) Beales, his son, Mark Laurent and his granddaughter, Nicole Beales.
He went to school in Two Rivers, WI and graduated from Washington High School in 1954. Bill attended the University of Wisconsin, Milwaukee. After 3 years, he joined the Army and was sent to Germany. Upon returning from Germany, he finished college with a major in Economics and a music minor. Music was a large part of his life. He was a member of the Olympic Club and sang in the Olympic Club chorus. Bill loved to travel and was fond of going on cruises.
A private family burial was held on August 28th at Mountain View Cemetery in Oakland. A mass and reception will be held at Corpus Christi Church in Piedmont, CA on October 12, 2024 at 10 am.
In lieu of flowers, donations in his name may be made to the Alzheimer's Association.
