Woman hit by car on Syracuse’s southside left with life-threatening injuries

SYRACUSE, N.Y. (WSYR-TV) — Around 8 p.m. on Sunday, Sept. 22, Syracuse Police officers were sent to Glenwood Ave. and Elmwood Ave. for a car accident.

At the scene, they found a 24-year-old woman on the road, as she had just been hit by a car.

She was taken to Upstate Hospital with life-threatening injuries, according to police.

The driver of the car stayed on the scene.

The investigation is active and ongoing. Anyone with information is asked to call the Syracuse Police Department Traffic Section at (315) 442-5130.
