Women's March Rockford, Winnebago County Citizens for Choice to host Rally for Women

ROCKFORD, Ill (WREX) – The Women's March Rockford and Winnebago County Citizens for Choice are set to host a Rally for Women this upcoming Saturday, November 2.

The Rally will be at the Rockford Women's Suffrage Plaza located at 200 Y Boulevard in Rockford. The event will kick off at 10:30 A.M. and will end at 12 P.M.

Those in attendance will be able to listen to special guest speakers, listen to live music, and connect with different organizations. Speakers set to address attendees will include:

Melissa Champion- Emcee and Women's March Rockford.

Gina Meeks- Women in Local Government

Barb Giolitto- Winnebago County Citizens for Choice

Aprel Prunty- Women in Education

Judge Rosemary Collins- Women's Rights and Legislation

Paulette Gilbert- Reciting Pastor Violet Johnicker's speech

Christina Valdez- Call to Action, We Won't Go Back

DJ- Charo Chaney

The event is time to cap off a day of Get Out the Vote efforts across the country.
