19-year-old faces child sex charges in Greenville Co.
GREENVILLE, S.C. (WSPA) – A 19-year-old is facing three charges connected to the sexual exploitation of minors.
The SC Attorney General's Office announced Monday that Aaron Mateo Pobjecky, of Greenville, was arrested following a child sexual abuse investigation.
The investigation was initiated when investigators received a cyber tipline report from the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children which led them to Pobjecky.
Officials said Pobjeckly reportedly was in possession of files of child sexual abuse material.
The suspect was arrested Wednesday, Oct. 30 according to the attorney general's office. He was charged with three counts of sexual exploitation of a minor, third-degree.
The offense is punishable by up to 10 years imprisonment on each count according to officials.
The Greenville County Sheriff's Office assisted in Pobjecky's arrest.
The case will be prosecuted by the attorney general's office.
