16-year-old girl in custody after person shot in face near Conway, report says
HORRY COUNTY, S.C. (WBTW) — A 16-year-old girl is in custody after a person was shot in the face at a home early Thursday morning in the Conway area, according to a police report obtained by News13.
Officers responded just after 2 a.m. to Fowler Road for a shooting, the report said. The responding officer found the victim on the porch, who had blood coming from his face from a gunshot wound.
The person was not conscious and did not appear to be breathing, according to the report. The officer did feel a "weak" pulse coming from the victim's neck. They were transported by Horry County Fire Rescue.
The girl was detained in the backyard of the house, the report said.
