45-year-old man shot and killed on Fourth of July

CINCINNATI (WXIX) - A 45-year-old man shot and critically hurt in Over-the-Rhine on the Fourth of July is now Cincinnati's latest homicide victim. Christian Pearson was found shot in the 1300 block of Walnut Street when they responded to a report of a shooting there at 5:48 p.m. Thursday, detectives said in a news release early Friday. He was taken to the University of Cincinnati Medical Center, where he succumbed to his injuries. Homicide detectives are continuing to investigate. No suspect information has been released and no arrests were announced overnight.
