ST. LOUIS – A 42-year-old man is recovering after being shot in the leg in south St. Louis. The victim told officers he was in the alley of the 900 block of Bates Street around 7:30 p.m. Saturday when he was approached by an unknown man who pulled out a gun and shot him.
