‘YES THEY LEFT EVERYTHING’: Airline leaves band’s equipment behind right before tour

Ohio-based band Bilmuri embarked on their journey as an opener for Sleep Token during their Europe-wide "Ritual" this week.

And not only have two Sleep Token members fallen ill thus far, but all of Bilmuri's equipment was purportedly left behind by Delta Airlines right ahead of the tour.

According to an all-caps X post published Monday, Bilmuri — which is mainly headed and founded by former Attack Attack! member, Johnny Frank — informed their fans that they were on their way to Zurich, Switzerland, when they noticed something was amiss.

"["Muri nation"] ?," reads the post. "

Sleep Token, too, was hit with some flies in the ointment ahead of the tour: Guitarist IV and bassist III both fell ill prior to the band's Zurich show, forcing the two remaining members to perform live against pre-recorded tracks in their stead.

Nevertheless, Loudwire reports that the show went on.

"Zurich, thank you for your unwavering support and for raising your voices with us last night," reads a Sleep Token Instagram post. "In the absence of our brother III and IV, your energy filled the room and carried us through.

"We are grateful beyond words for this collective, and for each of you who shared in the Ritual with us. Your presence means everything.

How and when Bilmuri got their equipment back — and if, indeed, they got all of it back — remains unconfirmed.

Both bands are slated to perform tonight, Nov. 7, at the LDLC Arena in Lyon, France, before heading off to Germany.
