Save Our Springs Alliance files lawsuit over Mirasol Springs water line approval

The Save Our Springs Alliance is suing the West Travis County Public Utility Agency and its board members following the approval of the Mirasol Springs water line.

Mirasol Springs is a 1,000-acre development in western Travis County and will get access to water from Lake Travis.

The Save Our Springs lawsuit is challenging what they call the "condemnation of a portion of the Barton Creek Habitat Preserve to build a water main to serve new development along Highway 290 West in Travis and Hays counties."

CBS Austin has reached out to Mirasol Springs for a statement on the lawsuit. We have not heard back.
