Pulaski County family asking for help in finding loved who has been missing for more than a week

PULASKI COUNTY, Ark.- The Pulaski County Sheriff's Department is investigating the disappearance of 62-year-old Theresa Chwastek from Roland.

It's been more than a week since her family last saw her. Their worry only continues to grow as there are no leads on where she could be or if she is okay.

Officers and the community already gathered to complete a search, finding no traces of Theresa anywhere.

"I try to be strong and think everything is going to be good," Theresa's mom Patricia Chwastek said.

Patricia says she knew something was wrong when she hadn't seen her daughter in a few days. She decided to walk over with her son to check on Theresa and her home, but it only left her with more questions.

"That surprised me when the door was unlocked, it wasn't open, but it was unlocked," Patricia Chwastek said.

Patricia told police Monday, November 11th, when she filed the missing persons report that the last time she saw her daughter was on Friday, November 8th.

"I love her, I miss her, every night I keep thinking she is at the door," Patricia Chwastek said.

Patricia says she misses her daughter each day as she sits with no answers.

"Theresa was a very kindhearted person, wouldn't you say, she had a good heart for people," Patricia Chwastek said.

According to Theresa's family, she was last seen wearing a white and blue sweater with blue jeans.

Police searching for missing 88-year-old Grant County man

The family has been passing out flyers trying to find out information while the Pulaski County Sheriff's Department works on leads.

"It's getting harder and harder, it's getting too long," Patricia Chwastek said.

The Pulaski County Sheriff's Department asks anyone with information on Theresa's whereabouts or what may have happened to her to call the Criminal Investigations Division.
