Knepp anniversary
Ken and Judy (Rokey) Knepp of Eureka will celebrate their 60th anniversary on Friday. They were married on July 5, 1964, in a garden wedding at her parents' home in Congerville.
They are the parents of Cisne (Pete) Schaffer of Algonquin, Dave (Melissa) Knepp of Geneseo and Lorna (Matt) Zobrist of Eureka. They also have eight grandchildren: Bryce (Danny) Canary, Lucas (Danielle) Knepp, Haley Schaffer, Amanda Schaffer, Michael Schaffer, Malik (Hallie) Peterson, Ezekiel Zobrist and Carly Zobrist and four great-grandchildren.
He was a commodity manager with Caterpillar for 39 years before he retired in 2002. She is a homemaker.
The milestone will be celebrated with a family meal this weekend at Mona's Restaurant in Toluca as well as a trip to the Pacific Northwest in September for a cruise on the Columbia and Snake Rivers.
