5 arrested, 3 wanted after shooting in Ascension Parish leaves 1 dead, deputies say
BATON ROUGE, La. (BRPROUD) — Five people were arrested and three others are wanted in connection to a fatal shooting that took place in Ascension Parish in June.
Jakil Jones, 32, of Gonzales, Kentrell Price, 25, of Donaldsonville, Kenwin Dandridge, 27, of Donaldsonville, Jamal Vaughn, 24, of Donaldsonville, and Antoine Jackson, 28, of Donaldsonville, were arrested and charged with two counts of attempted first-degree murder, illegal use of weapons and criminal street gangs.
According to the Ascension Parish Sheriff's Office, deputies responded to a reported shooting around 10:50 p.m. on Friday, June 14 on St. Patrick Street in Donaldsonville. Upon their arrival, deputies found Trevon Dunn , 22, of Donaldsonville, dead from a gunshot wound.
Deputies also found two other victims who had been shot, with one of them receiving a graze wound, according to APSO.

Detectives are also looking for the whereabouts of Gerrell Skinner, 30, of Belle Rose, Jardell Pleasant, 32, of Donaldsonville, and Taj Levy, 27, of Gonzales. APSO is encouraging residents who have any information to contact the sheriff's office at 225-621-4636 or Crime Stoppers at 225-344-7867.
