Living 12 Disney Halloween Movies You'll Want to Rewatch Before October 31

It's officially spooky season and if there's one thing we know, it's that it is also time to break out Disney's most frightening films. Well, frightening might not be exactly the right word, but these movies that were produced by the Mouse House certainly get us psyched for Halloween. Check out a few of Disney's creepiest classics and see where we ranked them!

Girl vs. Monster (2012)

When teen Skylar Lewis (Olivia Holt) accidentally lets a trapped monster loose, she discovers she comes from a line of monster hunters. Skylar must learn to embrace her calling before more monsters are set free and cause harm.

Mostly Ghostly: Who Let The Ghosts Out? (2008)

Starring Sterling Beaumon, Madison Pettis and Luke Benward, in this Disney Channel Original Movie—or DCOM—a wannabe magician discovers two ghosts and agrees to help them find eternal rest. But when the trio becomes the target of an evil spirit, they must figure out how to stop his crazy plan for Halloween.

Mom's Got A Date With A Vampire (2000)

The Hansen kids are thrilled when their mom gets asked out on a date, allowing them to sneak out during their grounding and make plans of their own. But when they realize their mom's new boyfriend might be a vampire, the kids must do everything they can to stop him.

Return to Halloweentown (2006)

As the fourth film of the franchise, Return to Halloweentown shows Marnie Piper (Sara Paxton) arriving at Halloweentown University, or Witch U, as a new college student, but she soon finds herself in the midst of some magical mischief.

Return to Halloweentown unfortunately recast the role of Marnie, which was originally held by Kimberly J. Brown. However, Paxton pulled the part off. Brown was the only role recast and audiences saw the return of Debbie Reynolds as Aggie Cromwell and Lucas Grabeel as Ethan Dalloway.

Halloweentown High (2004)

Marnie, who attends a mortal high school in her hometown, organizes a student exchange program with Halloweentown High, bringing a witch, warlock, troll and ogre to the real world. Starring Kimberly J. Brown as Marnie and Debbie Reynolds as Aggie Cromwell.

The Nightmare Before Christmas (1993)

When the king of Halloween Town, Jack Skellington, grows bored of the same old routine of scaring people, he discovers the bright and happy Christmas Town. Jack attempts to steal Christmas and bring it under his control, but things soon go awry.

Twitches Too (2007)

After defeating the darkness again on their 21st birthday, twin witches Alex (Tia Mowry) and Camryn (Tamera Mowry) are faced with the possibility of their birth father being alive. The twins work on strengthening their powers to potentially bring him back, but accidentally awaken something evil.

Haunted Mansion (2003)

Workaholic real estate agent, Jim Evers (Eddie Murphy) is accused by his wife of not spending enough time with his family, so he takes them on vacation. Along the way, Jim stops at a mansion he was asked to sell but discovers it is haunted by Master Gracey and his servants. Jim and his family try to escape, but soon get sucked into helping them break the curse.

Halloweentown II: Kalabar's Revenge (2001)

When Halloweentown experiences some strange occurrences, Marnie and her grandmother, Aggie, set out to discover what is going on, only to find out that the community is losing its magic. When Aggie realizes her spell book has been stolen, she must get it back before an evil warlock casts a dangerous spell.

After Max Dennison (Omri Katz) moves to Salem with his family, he, his sister and his crush explore the abandoned Sanderson home. But after ignoring a story about the witchy Sanderson Sisters — Winifred (Bette Midler), Sarah (Sarah Jessica Parker) and Mary (Kathy Najimy) — and lighting the Black Flame Candle, Max and his friends must stop the witches from becoming immortal.
