5 injured following 9-vehicle crash in Murfreesboro
MURFREESBORO, Tenn. (WKRN) — A nine-vehicle crash in Murfreesboro Thursday morning sent multiple people to the hospital and led to a brief road closure, according to officials.
The Murfreesboro Police Department posted on Facebook shortly after 11:30 a.m. on Thursday, Nov. 7 about the wreck, which was caused by a rear-end collision at the intersection of Broad Street and South Church Street.

Authorities said five people were taken to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries, but seven others are alright.
All lanes were blocked from South Church Street to Vine Street following the incident, but at 11:52 a.m., police announced Broad Street was back open.
