2 Juveniles Among Victims of Duluth Quadruple Murder Suicide
Duluth, MN ( KRCO-AM News )- A deadly shooting rampage in Duluth on Thursday claimed the lives of five people, including two juveniles.
Prelminary information released by the Duluth Police Department indicates the deaths are the result of an apparent quadruple murder-suicide.
A news release says the lives were lost over the course of two separate but connected shootings .
Officers were requested to conduct a welfare check at a home in the 6000 block of Tacony St. around 2:10 p.m. A 47-year-old woman and a juvenile were found dead of apparent gunshot wounds inside of the residence.

Investigators identified the suspected shooter and set up a perimeter around his home in the 4400 block of West 6th St.
Law enforcement then made entry into the suspect's home and found a 45-year-old woman and a juvenile dead of apparent gunshot wounds.
The suspect, described as a 46-year-old man, was also located deceased. Police say he appeared to have died from a self-inflicted gunshot wound.
Investigators say the shooter and victims were all known to each other. Their identities are being withheld pending family notification, the news release says.
Officials say there is no danger to the public and that the investigation remains ongoing. Duluth police plan to release more information at a later time.
