Sayreville police confirmed Friday morning there was a fatality and injuries in the 5:45 a.m. crash involving a flatbed trailer and a dump truck, but declined to offer additional information, citing the ongoing investigation. The crash took place at the foot of the Edison Bridge spanning the Raritan River between Woodbridge and Sayreville, News 12 New Jersey said.
