Home invasion shooting leaves one injured, Columbus police investigating

COLUMBUS, Ga. ( WRBL ) — Columbus police are conducting an investigation into the shooting of a woman during a home invasion. According to Columbus police, the home invasion occurred at about 11:15 p.m. at a residence on 3700 block of Bridgewater Road. Thursday night. During the invasion the woman inside the home was shot in both arms and one leg. She was taken in a private vehicle to St. Francis for treatment of what police called non-life threatening injuries.
