18 Middle Tennessee driver centers to close this week for installs. Is yours on the list?

Looking to get some business done at a driver services center near you this week?

Think again. Eighteen locations will be closing up shop for one day each this week across Middle Tennessee so crews can install new credentialing equipment and self-service kiosks, the Tennessee Department of Safety and Homeland Security announced in a press release.

Centers in Cookeville, McMinnville, Dickson, Fayetteville, Columbia and Shelbyville, along with 12 other partner locations, will be impacted, the release notes.

During the one-day closures, residents can visit other driver service centers in Middle Tennessee or online services at tn.gov/safety/driver-services/online.html .

Here's when each location is set to close, listed by date:

On Sept. 23:

  • City of Clarksville North Service Center at 111 Cunningham Lane in Clarksville.

  • City of Clarksville at 1 Public Square, First Floor, in Clarksville.

  • Cookeville Driver Services Center at 4600 South Jefferson Avenue in Cookeville.

  • McMinnville Driver Services Center at 594 Vervilla Road in McMinnville.

  • On Sept. 24:

  • Dickson Driver Services Center at 114 West Christi Drive in Dickson.

  • Fayetteville Driver Services Center at 4110 Thornton Taylor Parkway in Fayetteville.

  • Giles County Clerk at 223 West Madison Street, Room 204, in Pulaski.

  • City of Lawrenceburg Municipal Complex at 25 Public Square in Lawrenceburg.

  • On Sept. 25:

  • Cheatham County Clerk at 354 Frey Street, Suite F, in Ashland City.

  • Columbia Driver Services Center at 1701 Hampshire Pike in Columbia.

  • Wayne County Clerk at 100 Court Circle, Suite 200, in Waynesboro.

  • On Sept. 26:

  • Shelbyville Driver Services Center at 200 Dover Street, Suite 108, in Shelbyville.

  • Marshall County Clerk at 1107 Courthouse Annex in Lewisburg.

  • Wilson County Clerk at 129 South College Street in Lebanon.

  • Cannon County Clerk at 200 West Main Street in Woodbury.

  • OnSept. 27:

  • Perry County Clerk at 121 E Main Street in Linden.

  • Lewis County Clerk at 110 N. Park, Room 105, in Hohenwald.

  • Clay County Clerk at 145 Cordell Hull Drive in Celina.

  • Residents can complete driver services transactions like renewing or replacing a duplicate Driver License or ID Card, changing an address, updating emergency contact information, advancing a Teen/Graduated Driver License, paying reinstatement fees and requesting a license reissue at self-service kiosks, officials said.

    The kiosks can take photos and process payments with Apple Pay, Google Pay or a credit or debit card.
