OMAHA, Neb. (WOWT) - 6 News Daybreak has the headlines you need to know to get your Friday started.

Rusty's First Alert Forecast: Rain moving in Friday night Senior Chief Meteorologist Rusty Lord reports a chilly Friday morning in the upper 30s with a slight amount of fog.

"We'll still warm into the mid 50s but it won't feel as good as the last couple days," Lord says.

Chances of rain are possible Friday night after 10 p.m., as well as Saturday morning and afternoon, according to Lord.

"A few light stray shower is possible before that but overall I think most of us will stay dry until 10pm. That bodes well for high school football games in the area," Lord reports.

OPD catching multiple drivers at 100 mph The Omaha Police Department says that speeding is continuing to be an issue in the Omaha-metro.

Thursday night, multiple people were caught driving at speeds of 100 miles an hour.

OPD says they stopped one vehicle near the I-80 and I-680 interchang e, and another vehicle on I-680.

A separate speeding citation was issued for another driver going at least 36 mph over the posted speed limit.

Meanwhile, a new survey revealed that over 60% of Omaha drivers have safety concerns while behind the wheel.

Douglas County Sheriff Aaron Hanson says that speed racing in the metro is also a growing problem.

Latest on incident of Omaha teacher found dead at home In a news conference Thursday, Sarpy County Sheriff Jeff Davis released video from body cameras showing deputies responding to the home where an Omaha Westside teacher was found dead.

Rebecca Geiger , 45, is believed to have died before deputies arrived to the scene on Oct. 28 on a domestic violence call.

Geiger's 19-year-old daughter had called 911 telling operators her father, 44-year-old Rory Geiger, had shot her mother — and that he had a gun pointed at her, authorities say.

Davis says that Rory Geiger was shot and killed by the deputies that responded to the situation.

The investigation is ongoing and the incident is expected to go to a grand jury in the coming weeks.

Domestic violence prompts OPD officers to fire weapons into closet A man is badly hurt after a domestic violence incident prompted Omaha Police officers to fire their weapons into a closet at a South Omaha home.

Although police are investigating the incident, they believe that the woman may have been held against her will.

Officers responded to the domestic violence call at about 5:30 p.m. Wednesday near South 43rd and Frances Street.

When they arrived, police say they heard gunfire and a woman "physically fighting in the building," a report states.

OPD officers "immediately opened the closet door," and two of them fired their guns, a report says.

The woman was taken out of the closet and to the hospital with non-life threatening injuries.

The incident was caught on officer's cameras. The two involved will soon be interviewed.

Our Omaha-metro high school football coverage is continuing Friday with round two of playoffs.

A couple of games start at 6 p.m., including: VB Butler at Creighton and McCook at Bennington.

Other notable games that we will be covering are: Millard North at Millard South, Waverly at Skutt Catholic, and Papio at Westside.

I-480 at Leavenworth closing Friday From 9 a.m. Friday until about 6 a.m. Monday, the I-480 exit ramps both directions will be closed at Leavenworth Street.

According to NDOT, this closure is so that pavement repairs can be completed.
