CLEVELAND, Ohio (WOIO) - Akron police arrested a 37-year-old man after he ran from approaching officers Thursday morning. Police say they responded to the 400 block of West market Street around 12:20 a.m. Thursday for calls about shots fired. Officers say they were told on their way to the call that the subject involved in the incident was in the Circle K parking lot. The suspect ran from officers as they approached, police say, running away from a car that matched the description of an involved vehicle. Officers identified the suspect as Terrell Talley, who was taken into custody after briefly resisting arrest. Police say they recovered a rifle and a handgun while searching the vehicle. Talley was charged with obstructing official business, weapons under disability, improperly handling a forearm in a motor vehicle and resisting arrest before being taken to the Summit County Jail.
