In the movie, a young woman named Rain Carradine joins a group to flee to the planet Yvaga. In order to retrieve stasis chambers for the journey, the team takes a spaceship and travels to the defunct station. But they unintentionally release face-huggers, which are nasty extraterrestrial monsters kept on the ship for study. Inspired by the myth of Rome's founders, Romulus and Remus, the movie examines sibling relationships.
