Alligator spotted, removed from Riviera Beach It was a sight to behold for some on Saturday in Riviera Beach.A more than 10-foot alligator was seen off the shore on Riviera Beach. A more than 10-foot alligator was seen off the shore on Riviera Beach. The alligator moved from Riviera Beach to the Palm Beach Shores pump house.

The Riviera Beach Police Department said by 10:30 a.m. personnel from the Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission and a private alligator trapper arrived at the scene and successfully captured the alligator.

The police department said it was also assisted by the Palm Shores Fire Department and the Palm Beach County Sheriff's Office.
