Miller Park Zoo plans Oct. 5 events

BLOOMINGTON — Miller Park Zoo, 1020 S. Morris Ave. in Bloomington, will host two events on Saturday, Oct. 5.

The first event will be FlexZOObility from 8:30-9:30 a.m., a yoga class for ages 5 five and up, and all skill levels. Registration is required.

The second event will be Haunted Twilight Mini Golf at the Putting Zoo from 7-9 p.m. This will be guests' last chance for mini golf this season.

The night will include glow-in-the-dark golf balls, festive Halloween decorations and more. Games are $7 person, with the last tee at 8:15 p.m. Halloween costumes are encouraged.

The Putting Zoo is near the zoo entrance.

MPZ is also encouraging students ages 11-19 to submit to the 2025 Science Without Borders Challenge for a chance to win $200-$500 scholarships. Entries are due by Monday, March 3. The competition focuses on ocean conservation.
