Amy Adams dazzled as she attended the UK premiere of her film Nightb***h during the 68th BFI London Film Festival on Wednesday night.

The American actress, 50, looked sensational in a black strapless gown which pulled her in at the waist.

Her signature fiery locks were pulled back into a neat updo and she opted for a smokey eye make-up look.

She accessorised with a statement gold necklace, gold hoop earrings, and a simple gold ring.

Amy was joined by director Marielle Heller, who donned a strapless black jumpsuit.

The pair appeared in high spirits as she posed for snaps together on the red carpet before heading into the star-studded event.

Nightb***h is based on the 2019 novel by Rachel Yoder and is set to premiere in theaters on December 6, 2024

In addition to Amy, Nightb***h also stars Ella Thomas and Garrett C. Phillips.

Amy plays an unnamed woman who quits her job as an artist to be at home full-time with her young son while her husband continues working.

But she soons finds herself identifying with the behaviour of dogs and acting on her feral instincts.

The increasingly blurred boundaries between reality and fantasy ultimately make her question if she needs to have more balance in her life.

In an interview with Vanity Fair, Adams said she thought Yoder's novel was 'unique and otherworldly, and like nothing I'd ever read before', adding: 'The thing I really attached to is this idea of loss of identity.'

Reflecting on her character's journey in the film, Adams explained: 'Through her parenting - through her mothering - she got in touch with something bigger and something primal.'

When Adams isn't busy filming movies, she is busy raising daughter Aviana, 14, with her husband Darren Le Gallo.

Adams and Le Gallo met in an acting class in 2001, and began dating a year later when they collaborated on the short film, Pennies.

The couple got engaged in 2008 and welcomed daughter Aviana two years later in 2010.

They had an extended engagement and said they were in no rush to get married, before exchanging vows in 2015 on a ranch just outside of Santa Barbara, California.

The actress told Allure in 2016 that the couple decided to finally get married because Aviana 'wanted a family wedding'.

Adams has also previously gushed about her husband and the love he has for their daughter.

She told Marie Claire back in 2018: 'It's sexy to see him raising a girl and teaching her how a man should treat her in a lovely way.'

And the actress, who has six Academy Award nominations and a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame under her belt, hopes to serve as a reminder to her daughter about her own potential.

'I want [Aviana] to know that is it not just women that can soar, she can soar and she needs to find her own light. I know she is on that path,' she told Entertainment Tonight after her Hollywood Walk Of Fame ceremony in 2017.

'That is something that I need to remind her. No light that shines on me creates a shadow for her to stand in.'

Night***h, set to be released in December, is directed by Marielle Heller, the film-maker behind A Beautiful Day in the Neighbourhood and Can You Ever Forgive Me?
