Amy Poehler is reportedly dating Pineapple Street Studios executive editor Joel Lovell, who previously worked for This American Life and New York Times Magazine.

The 53-year-old comedian has been 'enjoying spending time with' the New York-based podcast producer-editor as far back as 'earlier this summer' - according to People .

Amy might have crossed paths with Joel through their mutual connection to Philly-based broadcasting company Audacy, which happens to own Pineapple Street Studios.

Audacy is the same company behind Poehler's 2023 scripted comedy podcast, Say More with Dr? Sheila.

Lovell - who's worked on Magnificent Jerk, Missing Richard Simmons , and Serial - is father to three daughters: Addie Lovell, 23; Tess Lovell, 21; and Julia Lovell, 17.

Back in 2015, little Tessie - now a student at Cornell University - coincidentally dressed up as Poehler's Inside Out character Joy for Halloween.

The Emmy-winning actress just reprised her voiceover role as the blue-haired yellow emotion in Kelsey Mann's critically-acclaimed sequel Inside Out 2, which amassed an eye-popping $1.691B at the global box office last spring.

Amy previously dated actor John Stamos, comedian Nick Kroll, and trademark/patent lawyer Benjamin Graf.

Poehler mothered two teenage sons - Archibald William Emerson Arnett, turning 16 on October 25; and Abel James Arnett, 14 - during her nine-year marriage to her Blades of Glory leading man Will Arnett, which amicably ended in divorce in 2016.

'I just started therapy,' the Canadian 54-year-old confessed on his SmartLess podcast on August 18.

'I'm going to get real for a second. I don't know anything. This is the most scared I've been in my life is right now. It's really scary. I'm doing, like, I can't even believe I'm talking about this. I'm petrified.'

Will - who's battled alcoholism - continued: 'The best part is I told Poehler yesterday and she said, "I'm so glad." I'm like, "What do you mean you're so glad?"'

Arnett is also father to four-year-old son Alexander Denison Arnett with his babymama Alessandra Brawn who, at 37, is 17 years younger than him.

On October 10, the Massachusetts-born blonde will be honored with the Robin Williams Legacy of Laughter Award by the late comedian's children, Zak, Zelda, and Cody during Bring Change to Mind's 12th annual Revels & Revelations fundraiser in Woodside, CA.

Amy will then receive the Variety Legend & Groundbreaker Award on October 20 from the Newport Beach Film Festival in Newport, CA.
