SAPD: Suspect on the run after allegedly shooting man in face during argument at party

SAN ANTONIO — San Antonio Police are looking for a suspect after a man was shot in the face following an argument at a north-side party Sunday afternoon.

Police were called to a disturbance at the 7900 block of Jones Maltsberger Road around 4:50 p.m.

According to SAPD, two men were arguing at an apartment complex when one of the men pulled out a gun and shot the other in the face. The suspect then fled the scene in a minivan.

The man was taken to the hospital with life threatening injuries.

Police did not say what led up to the argument.

SAPD says this is an ongoing investigation.
