Anne Hathaway And Son Lose Their Popcorn In Collision Scare At Knicks Game
Actor Anne Hathaway had a starring role at the New York Knicks game on Wednesday, but it was one she could have done without. (Watch the video below.)
The "Mothers' Instinct" star and her son Jack were sitting courtside when they nearly got pummeled by New York's OG Anunoby. The forward tipped an errant pass by the Chicago Bulls and chased it to the sideline toward Hathaway.
He jumped on the barrier platform to stop his momentum and knocked over her son's popcorn.
The lad looked stunned, but Hathaway gave him a reassuring caress.
"The little kid was mesmerized," MSG analyst Walt Frazier said. "He couldn't move."
Play-by-play announcer Mike Breen offered words of comfort.
"There's always more popcorn, young man," he said.
