Anne Hathaway had a close call at Wednesday's New York Knicks vs. Chicago Bulls game when OG Anunoby nearly collided with her.

The Devil Wears Prada star, 42, was pictured sitting courtside when the 6ft 7′′ NBA player, 27, charged in her direction while chasing the ball.

The basketball star collided with a courtside barrier and sent Hathaway's popcorn flying in the air.

Moments prior, the Oscar winner — who recently enjoyed a night out in Soho — was pictured putting her hand out as she attempted to catch the ball that was flying in her direction.

The New York native kept her cool and appeared unfazed by the run-in as she was pictured smiling afterwards.

Unfortunately Anne's team lost out by a point, with the final score of the night 124-123 for the Bulls.

Social media lit up with reactions following the near-crash, with one fan writing: 'I would've almost crashed too if I saw Anne Hathaway.'

'OG knew he couldn't hurt the princess of genovia,' another fan added in reference to her 2001 film The Princess Diaries.

Others referenced her role as Catwoman in the 2012 film The Dark Knight Rises, 'Catwoman aint shook.. She wouldve evaded easily..'

'He totally did that on purpose [laughing emoji],' another added about the NBA star.

Many praised Anne for her cool demeanor, with one fan writing, 'She didn't even flinch that's crazy.'

Anne recently discussed embracing her 'femme fatale' side in a glamorous Vogue France cover story.

She wowed in a number of sizzling ensembles in the November issue, released on October 30.

In the interview the star spoke about her more confident and sexy self-image in her forties, and how it contrasts her childhood dreams of becoming a nun.

'Around 40, I see myself differently, I like to meet new facets of myself. This femme fatale is one of them,' she said.

'We are quite far from the nun that you dreamed of becoming, as a young girl,' she added.

'One of the privileges of being an actress is that you never need to confine or limit your identity. I feel fluid, and I am constantly evolving. I like to explore who I am,' the star shared.

Anne, who was raised Roman Catholic, previously spoke about wanting to become a nun in a 2011 interview with the Independent .

'When I was younger, I thought about becoming a nun for a while. You know how it is when you're growing up and you're going to be a lot of different things, but I actually wanted to be an actress before I wanted to be a nun. The nun was more of a sidebar thing.'

Hathaway later broke from the church after her older brother came out.

As for her career, Anne recently revealed she is returning for the third installment of Disney's Princess Diaries franchise.

The starlet took to Instagram to confirm the news, sharing clips from the film alongside her counting down to the announcement.

'Miracles happen,' she penned to fans. 'Back to Genovia with The fairy tale continues.'

However, Julie Andrews has already confirmed she would not be reprising her role as Queen Clarisse Renaldi.

Disney handed the reigns to the project over to celebrity director Adele Lim — who has previously worked on Crazy Rich Asians, Raya and the Last Dragon.

The hotly anticipated film has been in the works since 2022, but details surrounding the plot have been kept under wraps. Disney has yet to confirm a release date.

When she's not working, Hathaway is a busy mom of two. She shares sons Jonathan (born in 2016) and Jack (born in 2019) with husband Adam Shulman, 43, to whom she's been married to since 2012.
