Anthony Patterson trial wraps second week of testimonies

FORT WORTH, Texas (KAUZ) - The second week of the Anthony Patterson trial continues inside the Tim Curry Criminal Justice Center in Fort Worth on Friday, Nov. 15.

Final testimonies continue before closing arguments The first witness to be called to the stand on Friday morning was Darrell Coleman, a former employee at Patterson Auto Group. Coleman testified that in 2020 Patterson was part of a group that presented a check to Patsy's House.

He was questioned whether Patterson had told him if he was under investigation at the time and if he should be around children. Coleman said Patterson did not disclose this information.

On Thursday, Nov. 14, Judge Meredith Kennedy said that she intends to get charges to the jury by Monday, so deliberation can begin. Closing arguments from both sides will commence on Monday at 8 a.m.
