Bears at Colts Player Props: The offense breaks out

L.Thompson31 min ago
The Chicago Bears head to Indy to square off against the Indianapolis Colts on Sunday. This should be an interesting matchup as weaknesses will square off. The Chicago Bears struggling offense (largely the offensive line) will square off against the Colts' struggling defense (largely the defensive line) so this game becomes a question of which struggling unit will rise up and handle the other struggling unit?

Having an idea of how this game is going to play out will certainly impact the props that we suggest, so if you believe the Bears' offense will look better thanks to a struggling Colts' defense, these props are for you (odds courtesy of FanDuel).

Caleb Williams OVER 215.5 passing yards -113 If you've followed these prop s so far, we've been 4 for 4 on passing yardage props telling you in all four cases to take the under on yardage on Caleb Williams (twice), Will Levis, and CJ Stroud. The pivot to over for Caleb happens this week. The Bears offensive line will give Caleb more time to throw the football, and that will open up the door for the Bears receivers to get open against a mediocre Colts secondary. I expect Williams to throw for 230 to 240 yards on Sunday.

Anthony Richardson to throw an interception: YES -132 Richardson's yardage prop is set at 192.5, and that seems pretty low to flirt with an under, and going over this week against the Bears' secondary also doesn't seem like a great plan. While the vig on this one isn't great, it's not astronomically high, so we like Richardson throwing a pick on Sunday as our next prop.

Richardson's play has been very inconsistent, and he likes trying to go for home run balls. Pushing it against this Bears' secondary should result in a couple of turnovers, so expecting the Bears to come down with an interception when they nabbed two from Will Levis and Kyler Gordon almost got one from CJ Stroud (who never turns it over), this yes feels like a great bet.

Cole Kmet OVER receiving yards 20.5 -113 Keenan Allen is officially out for the Chicago Bears on Sunday. If we are under the expectation that the Chicago Bears' offense looks much better this week, then we need to start thinking about the distribution of passing yards.

We've already taken the Williams' over on passing yards. Unless DJ Moore has a monster game, there's going to be another couple of players that step up. If Moore has 100 yards, that's still going to be another 130 yards or so for the other receivers (if we called the over), and therefore, it's hard to imagine Kmet's usage in the offense not to increase this week, especially with no Allen.

I expect Kmet to see an increase in targets this week, probably 5 to 7, which should land him 3 or 4 receptions and should get him up between 30 and 50 receiving yards.
