Beautiful and hot for Sunday
COLUMBUS, Ga. (WRBL) —What a beautiful Saturday, plenty of sunshine with a few bubbling cumulus clouds and highs in the upper 80s to low 90s. Warm and dry through the evening and overnight into Sunday morning.
Fall begins at 8:43 AM EDT Sunday but it will not feel like it, expect a mixture of sun and clouds with highs in the upper 80s to low 90s.
The first half of the work week will be fairly uneventful with a mixture of sun and clouds and highs in the low to a few middle 90s. A cold front will slide through by midweek and should drop our temperatures to more seasonable for this time of the year.
Watching the tropics closely as as an area of thunderstorms in the Caribbean continues to have a decent chance (70%) of development over the next 7 days. Still too early to tell how much of an impact on this will have on our forecast, details will be far more clear once we get a little more development and should happen by early next week.
