Bidens accused of trying to ruin Kamala Harris' big moment with Jill's outfit and major family announcement

Is the Biden family trying to ruin Kamala Harris ' big moment? The question arose after Joe Biden 's wife Jill Biden wore a very telling outfit when she went to vote, while his granddaughter Naomi made a shocking announcement on Election Day.

The country is just hours away from finding out who will be the next US President - Kamala or Donald Trump .

As the results of each state started to trickle in, former President Joe's granddaughter Naomi took to Instagram to share the exciting news that she's expecting her first child with her husband Peter Neal.

And the timing of her post posed the question - are the Bidens attempting to overshadow former Vice President Kamala's potentially historic night?

Naomi, 30, uploaded a snap to her Instagram Stories that showed her cradling her growing baby bump, which she captioned, '(We) voted,' alongside an American flag and upside down smiley face emoji.

The expecting mother, who is the oldest grandchild of Joe and Jill, noticeably did not specify who she had voted for.

In addition, Jill was spotted wearing a bright red pantsuit - the color often associated with the Republican party - at the ballet on Tuesday, and many people on the web wondered if her outfit choice was a snub towards Kamala.

'As the wife of a Democrat politician there's no was she doesn't know how this looks,' one person wrote. 'Joe and Jill are pissed.'

'Jill Biden knows exactly what she did. Her outfit was on purpose,' another theorized.

Someone else used the hashtag #DemocratsForTrump and suggested Jill was 'sending them a sign.'

'I'm not sure the Bidens are fans of Kamala,' read a fourth tweet, while a fifth said, 'It's almost like the Bidens WANT Kamalala to LOSE.'

Her eyebrow-raising ensemble came hours after news hit the web that she and her husband, Joe, will not attend Kamala's Election Night watch party.

'Tonight, the president and First Lady will watch election results in the White House residence with longtime aides and senior White House staff,' a White House official revealed.

'The president will receive regular updates on the state of races across the country.'

Joe has been suspiciously out of the spotlight ever since he was accused of overshadowing Kamala's big 'closing' campaign speech by referring to Trump's supporters as 'garbage' during a Zoom call.

Kamala was hoping to capture the nation's full attention with a carefully planned rally in front of the White House for 75,000 Democrats one week before Election Day - but the commander-in-chief seemed to step on her moment with his shocking statement, which quickly dominated headlines.

While responding to comments made by a comedian at Trump's Madison Square Garden rally, in which he compared Puerto Rico to a 'floating island of garbage,' Biden said, 'The only garbage I see floating out there is [Trump's] supporters.'

Earlier this week, Kamala made her final push for election by rounding up a star-studded crew of political big names like Barack Obama and Joe's wife Jill, and deployed them to the tightest swing states - but Joe was nowhere to be seen.

Instead, he was hidden away in his hometown of Wilmington, Delaware – a comfortably Blue state – enjoying a long lunch at his golf club with an old friend.

After four years at the center of the political universe, Joe was suddenly thrust out of the spotlight earlier this year when he dropped out of the presidential race.

Immediately, the world moved its focus to Kamala, a younger, more ebullient candidate.

And this rapid relegation to the political periphery appears to have been actively encouraged by Kamala's team.

The Vice President has been at pains to emphasize that her presidency would not be 'a continuation of Joe Biden's.'
