Blood Drives

LUZERNE COUNTY: The Wyoming Valley Chapter of the American Red Cross hosts community blood drives throughout the month. Donors who are 16 years of age or older, weigh at least 110 pounds and are in relatively good health may give blood every 56 days. In addition to those listed below, blood drives are conducted at the Red Cross Regional Blood Center, 29 New Commerce Blvd., Hanover Industrial Park, Mondays noon-6 p.m.; Tuesdays 9:30 a.m.-6 p.m.; and Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays from 7:30 a.m.-1:30 p.m. Collections also take place every Monday from 9 a.m.-noon at the Hazleton Chapter House, 165 Susquehanna Blvd., Hazleton. All donors at the drive sites indicated by an asterisk in parentheses (*) will receive a free VIP voucher for the Vans Warped Tour 2011. The voucher will upgrade a concert ticket to full VIP access to the Music Saves Lives booth and priority meet and greets with select bands. In addition, all donors will be entered into the grand prize drawing to win a VIP Package Experience that includes two free admission tickets and two backstage access passes.
